Reason #18 - Green, anyone?
Last week was all about going green. Green means trying to go back to nature in some ways in order to take care of our earth. So imagine my delight when I heard this - Reason #18 for Moving to San Francisco. Go San Francisco! First - gay marriage, and then no more plastic bags. Sounds like San Francisco is the place to be. Have I mentioned that?
I think it's fun to figure out ways to take care of our earth. You know those white grocery sacks from the grocery store? The ones we save and reuse for garbage sacks? They don't break down (for a 1000 years? I heard?), so there they sit in the dump, and the garbage inside doesn't either. This is bad for Mother Earth. I can't stand the sound of them, especially if their in the back seat and the window is open, whipping the white bags around. I have to stop the car and cover them up so they won't make that sound. Ish. I also hate them cause they blow around all over, and get caught up in treees and shrubs. Ugly. One one of my walks, there's a gorgous flowering tree, covered in pick blossoms. I really really want to take a picture of it, but there's one of those damn bags tangled in some branches and it's a big white blight right in the center of the tree.
